Aims and scope

Studies in Agricultural Economics is an international journal publishing original research papers, short communication and book reviews on agricultural economics and related disciplines including agricultural production and competitiveness, food consumption, agri-food supply chain management, markets and marketing, international trade, agri-food policy, agri-environmental issues, rural development and the bioeconomy. The journal’s main geographical focus is Europe and Central Asia (ECA).

Studies in Agricultural Economics is an open access journal. This means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without seeking prior permission from the publisher or the author(s).

All published papers are at least double peer reviewed and should be original and novel. Three issues are prepared each year.
